420 Information

The 420 was designed in 1959 and continues to be a world class boat.  It is a two-person, three sail, trapeze dingy.

Our GBSA 420 Racing Team was once again top of the competition in 2006 in and around Narragansett Bay.  Listed below are just a few of the honors awarded:

• Division II NBYA Champions
• 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Places at the CJ Buckley Team Racing Championships
• 2nd Place at the NBYA Women's Championship
• 2nd Place at the Massachusetts Women's Championship
• NBYA Division II Seamanship Award Winner - NBYA Junior Race Week
• Division I 2nd Place Winners - NBYA Junior Race Week
• 1st Place Division I overall NBYA Regattas
• 1st Place Division II overall NBYA Regattas
