2)  Mark Your Calendars - Saturday April, 17, 2010.  Laser Performance Boat Swap.  This is a chance for buyers to bid, in a silent auction format, on used boats and parts brought in by the very people who own them. Sellers can submit boats and parts for the auction and receive 100% of the sale in store credit, which can then be applied to product or a new boat. Sellers not in the market for new parts or boats receive 85% of the sale price.

3)  Meet our new Head Opti Coach Lauren Gineo (of Newport) has come on board to be our opti head coach.  She has worked the past two years as Larchmont Yacht Club’s Opti coach and is embarking on an Olympic Campaign in windsurfing.  Program Director (and URI Sailing Coach) Joey Mello has worked with Lauren for 4 years at URI and is excited to add her to the already outstanding team he has assembled.  We are thrilled to have Lauren on board.
