One topic that comes up from time to time is the fact there are only a few junior one design classes on Narragnsett Bay.
Opti
Laser (4.7, radial, full rig)
Club 420
In many cases, the jump from an Opti to either a Laser or C420 can be a lot for a junior sailor.
Thinking outside the box .. has anyone looked at the RS Feva? Bob Adam has one on display over at the Vanguard center. It seems like this might be a viable option for a high performance 2-person boat.
Does anyone have any thoughts? _________________ Tom D'Albora

I agree going from an Opti to a 420 is a big jump from a physical/strength stand point.
That looks like a nice boat, the weight is good at 139 lbs, easy to lift off of a car, trailer.
Perhaps Mr. Adam could bring one to the May Breakfast and we could take it for spin?

I was thinking maybe we could set one up on the deck on parents night .. I could check with Bob about this. _________________ Tom D'Albora
