Get Your Kids Out Sailing This Summer!!!

Are you tired of watching your kids play video games in the summer?    How many more gimp bracelets do you really need??  Get your kids on the water this summer at Greenwich Bay Sailing Association.    GBSA offers programs for kids from 7 – 17 years of age and at all levels of ability.   Programs run 4 or 8 weeks and we have morning and afternoon sessions.  Our staff are the absolute best in the business and will keep your kids engaged and having fun in a safe supportive environment.  You DO NOT need to own a boat to participate – though don’t blame us if your kids start begging for one afterwards!

Best of all kids LOVE GBSA - what could be better than messing about in boats for the summer??    Your kids will have an adventure they’ll remember for the rest of their lives while learning a skill that will last them a life-time.

The GBSA InstructionalProgram includes

• Beginners - a program designed to teach kids the basics of sailing.  It’s the perfect starting place.  Beginners sail in groups with an instructor on the boat.  Kids as young as 7 may enroll.
• Sailing Adventures – is all about having fun on the water.  Kids in Sailing Adventures span from 9-17 and are engaged in just having good clean fun on the water.  They sail a variety of boats and explore the bay.
• Opti Beginners – for those who have learned the basics and want to explore racing sailboats – opti beginners provides the perfect platform to learn about racing sailboats.
• 420 Instructional - after optimist dinghies, kids in the early teens will often move to the 420 – a two person boat.  420 instructional teaches the basics of this boat that is popular with highschool and college sailing programs.
