Program Manager, Eric Baittinger

Dear GBSA friends and family,
Newly appointed GBSA Program Manager, Eric Baittinger, is a long-time sailor and has been an EGYC
member for many years with his wife, Maureen Ridgely. He is a graduate of the US Naval Academy and
served aboard nuclear submarines and surface combatants.
Eric has skippered and crewed for local area PHRF racing as well as offshore events. He was employed in
the US Sailing Offshore Office from 2006 until 2022 which included the position of Chief Measurer.
Additionally, he was a World Sailing International Measurer.
Eric holds a US Coast Guard Master License for vessels up to 100 gross tons and has made sail and power
boat deliveries in the Northeast and to the Chesapeake.
As Program Manager Eric will report to the GBSA Board and President and be responsible for overall
management and supervision of GBSA projects, facilities, staffing, planning, scheduling and activities.
