Service Description

Fridays 4-7pm/sunset & Saturday 9-12:30pm Ages: 9-15 The Spring Opti Race program is designed for both current Opti racers and sailors who are ready to transition into racing for the first time. This program bridges the gap between recreational sailing and competitive racing in a supportive, skill-focused environment. Sailors will work on boat handling fundamentals, sail trim, and mark rounding, while also being introduced to racing tactics, strategy, and rules. More experienced racers will continue to refine tuning, decision-making, and race execution. Instruction is tailored to meet sailors at their current level while helping them progress toward confident, independent racing. Participants should come prepared for focused practices in a positive and increasingly competitive setting. By the end of the program, sailors will have the skills and confidence needed to participate in local regattas and continue their development as racers.
